Northhold Group has completed the purchase of the Wellingborough site’s Neighbourhood Centre, paving the way for construction to begin on the area’s mixed-use community hub.
The transaction represents a technically complex agreement, with the Neighbourhood Centre forming a key part of the planning commitments associated with the wider Stanton Cross development.
Designed to become the commercial and community heart of Stanton Cross, the Neighbourhood Centre will provide a range of essential amenities and services for the area’s growing population.
With construction expected to commence shortly, the development will include:
– A new Co-op convenience store, offering quality food and everyday groceries for the local community
– Four additional retail units, creating opportunities for complementary retailers and service providers
– A spacious customer car park serving the retail centre
– A new nursery to support the area’s growing family community
– 37 high-quality residential apartments as part of the mixed-use scheme
Adam Mobley of WSB Property has been appointed to oversee the commercial lettings and commercial plot sales and can be contacted for all enquiries relating to the commercial elements of the scheme at amobley@wsbproperty.co.uk.
A further update on the construction programme, including anticipated timescales for the supermarket and retail units to open and welcome their first customers, will be provided over the coming weeks as details emerge.
