NHG acquired this former nursery site and successfully secured planning permission for a change of use to facilitate a new retail development.

The property was pre-let to Co-op, enabling the relocation of its existing supermarket to a purpose-built, two-storey premises. The new development provides a modern retail sales area at ground floor level, with dedicated storage accommodation on the first floor.

The project presented a number of logistical challenges, as construction took place within an active retail parade. Careful planning and coordination were required to maintain a safe and operational environment for neighbouring businesses and their customers throughout the build programme.
